The Team Behind Chin Badger Media

Charlie Budd
Founder, video producer, photographer, writer
Also known as The Tall Photographer, Chief Cake Eater and current custodian of The Chin Badger. Charlie has taken over one million photographs over the past 40 years, and shot and edited hundreds of videos. Everything Charlie does is about helping people to connect, to each other, to the best parts of ourselves and to the planet (he was a wildlife conservationist for 12 years). He loves collaborating, a creative challenge, ancient woodlands, and cake.

Liv Radburn
Videographer, photographer, editor
Liv gets things done, despite Charlie frequently going off on a tangent. Already an accomplished photographer, Liv was new to video when she joined the team but is now a key lynchpin on all video productions, with a keen technical and aesthetic eye and superb editing skills. She loves ticking off one project and launching onto the next, style, cheese sandwiches, KitKats and telling Charlie to put things away properly.

Kelly-Ann Grimes
Organiser, strategist & Charlie’s PA
Kelly-Ann makes sure the business is running as a business, and Charlie isn’t just wandering around the hedgerows taking pictures of butterflies. She’s in charge of accounts, project management structures, and making sure Charlie makes more money than he spends on cake. Kelly-Ann also runs the Pink Spaghetti PA Service in Stratford-upon-Avon and Leamington Spa. She loves flamingos, chocolate, garden gnomes, dahlias and beach holidays.

Jules Fallon
Strategic and creative director
Jules has owned her own successful, creative business, Sew Me Something, for over 10 years. Her strategic, creative and business experience is invaluable in taking Chin Badger Media forward in leaps and bounds. She has the dubious privilege to be married to Charlie for which he is eternally grateful except when she tells him off. Jules loves the sea, her cats, chickens and children although not necessarily in that order on any particular day.
We Care About
The environment
“The Earth is what we all have in common.” – Wendell Berry
Our home planet is amazing and we need to care more for it. Sustainability is at the core of everything we do. We have planted hundreds of trees between us, and raised thousands of pounds for wildlife conservation.
Creativity
“You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.” – Maya Angelou
Creativity and curiosity are integral to what makes us human – everyone is creative, even if they think they aren’t. Together with Lynda Holt from Brave Scene we created the Creative Cakestorm group to support fellow creatives – we meet monthly.
People
“If you see someone without a smile today, give ’em yours.” – Dolly Parton
Everything we do at Chin Badger Media is about connecting people – to each other, to the wider world, to another part themselves. We believe in being kind, making people smile and laugh, and sharing cake.
Education
“He who laughs most, learns best” – John Cleese
We are all enthusiastic life-long learners at Chin Badger Media – it’s part of our creativity and professionalism. We also love to help others to learn – which is why one of our specialisms is filming educational content for all ages, from Shakespeare for primary schools to ceramics for adults. And we do it with warmth and humour.
Sustainability Pledge
If you see Charlie’s background you may not be surprised we particularly care about both people and the planet.
We use an electric vehicle and reduce energy use wherever we can.
We carefully consider the environmental impact of everything we buy, from paper to cameras and we buy second hand when we can.
We plant 10 trees for every project we do via female-led, community-based organisations.
